Manroy Defense Systems to Create 53 Jobs in Spindale, NC

Spindale, NC - Rutherford County Economic Development is pleased to announce that Manroy Defense Systems will expand their current operations in Spindale, NC.  The expansion will create an estimated 53 new jobs and generate additional capital investment of more than $600,000 in facility improvements at the 159 Yelton Street facility. This facility houses the corporate office, production and distribution operations. Rutherford County has applied for a grant from the NC Rural Center to assist Manroy Defense Systems with renovations to the facility required to accommodate the expanded operations. The Town of Spindale Commissioners and the Rutherford County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on a local incentive package to support the project.

Manroy Defense Systems, a division of Manroy USA, LLC is a veteran-owned small business located in Spindale, NC and is a certified HUBZONE company.   Manroy USA, LLC is ISO Certified and is fully committed to its Quality Management System.  Manroy was started in Alabama in 2009 to machine and manufacture gun parts and moved in Spindale in August 2011.  Manroy USA, LLC is a leading supplier to the global defense industry with extensive experience in the production of machine guns, mounts and ancillary products.
